Fin Cup - Sand (Medium)

From her shared studio Clay Collective in Hackney, Alice Guillaume creates timeless, durable and unique ceramic pieces using hand-building techniques and simple tools. With a background in architecture, she experiments with form, function and materiality. Her collection of tablewares and vases are made with a variety of clays and a minimal colour palette to show and enhance the natural qualities of the materials. All pieces are designed to be used and loved for a lifetime.

This "Fin" cup is hand made with lightly flecked stoneware. The cup is half glazed in glossy transparent to contrast with the natural texture of the clay and create a certain tactile quality.
