Hi friend,

It’s so divine to have you here!

This is a little creative passion project for me. To survive capitalism, I work full time in London in Finance Technology. This has meant that I have spent almost my entire career in workplaces that are overwhelmingly white and heteropatriarchal. It’s also meant that I’ve missed out on the incredible creativity and energy that collaborating in diverse environments brings. Working with women feels collaborative to me, and not at all competitive like my day job.

The idea of a little online shop showcasing products by incredible women has been marinating for quite a number of years so the pandemic in 2020 turned out to provide the perfect ingredients to create her. A chance to breathe; to reflect and most importantly, working from home and removed entirely from the toxic environments a lack of diversity fosters.

So, welcome! Every second creating this shop has been pure joy and I’m incredibly grateful to the amazingly talented creators who have allowed me to share their products here.
